Mildred H. Reid, 97 of Farmville, passed away Dec. 22. Funeral service was held on Saturday, Dec. 30, at 11 a.m., at the Chapel of Bland-Reid Funeral Home. Interment was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Farmville. Bland-Reid Funeral Home of Farmville served the family.

Frances Rosetta Spencer, 79 of Rice, passed away Dec. 28. Funeral service was held on Wednesday, Jan. 3, at noon, at High Rock Baptist Church, Rice. Interment was in the church cemetery. Bland-Reid Funeral Home of Farmville served the family.

Phyllis Lewis Carroll, 77 of Buckingham passed peacefully December 31, 2023. Funeral service was held January 3, 2024 at Mt. Tabor Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, served the family.

Anne Mills LeSueur, 82 of Dillwyn, passed away Friday, Dec. 29. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, Jan. 7, at 2 p.m., in Cedar Baptist Church Cemetery in Dillwyn. Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, is serving the family.

Davie Booker, 61 of Farmville, passed away Dec. 31. Funeral service will be held on Monday, Jan. 8, at noon, at the Chapel of Bland-Reid Funeral Home, Dillwyn. Interment will be in the Ridgeway Baptist Church Cemetery, Dillwyn. Bland-Reid Funeral Home of Farmville served the family.

Dr. Harold Milton Merritt, 72 of Chesterfield, passed away Dec. 12. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, Jan. 13, at the Chapel of Bland-Reid Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Brown Family Cemetery. Bland-Reid Funeral Home of Farmville served the family.
