Albert Harding Page Jr.Jan. 12, 1955 — Dec. 29, 2023

Albert Harding Page Jr., 68, of Farmville, passed away Friday, Dec. 29, at his home. He was born Jan. 12, 1955, in Farmville, the only child of the late Albert Harding Page Sr. and Katherine Wilkerson Page.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Bert was a second generation building contractor. He could easily recount details of the countless projects he had completed throughout the years.

He had a love of music, particularly the Allman Brothers Band, and enjoyed classic cars such as the Plymouth Duster.

Bert will be remembered by his children as the cool “outlaw” dad who loved his daughter and son with all his heart.

Those who knew him can testify to the fact that he spent his entire life as a straight shooter, never shying away from telling you like it was.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Charles Albert Page and wife, Laura, of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Melissa (Page) Wolfe and husband, Jeff, of Selma.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 6, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Puckett Funeral Home in Farmville. Family and friends are encouraged to come by to share their memories of Bert.
