Dr. Carl U. Eggleston of the Oliver and Carl U. Eggleston Funeral Establishment was a part of the Recognition for Stg. Joseph T. Ford of Crewe, who was the first hero interred in the Amelia Veterans Cemetery. This recognition by Wreaths Across America was held at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia.
