Cartersville Baptist Church will present the cantata, “A Promise Kept”, on Friday, Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. and at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10. 

The cantata will tell the Christmas story in word and song, with narration read by Wayne Poates and music by the adult choir. Solos will be presented by Victoria Kinney and Pastor Tyler Mull. Other solos with choir will be performed by Jennifer Norman and Dave Hale. The church’s children’s choir will also perform. 

First sopranos are Nancy Lewis, Victoria Kinney and Denise Bryant. Second sopranos are Jenny Bales, June Pleasants, Tina Shumaker, Betty Pace, Deidre Martin, Jackie Suleski, Bridget Buchwald, Jena Towery. Altos are Jennifer Norman, Earlene Canaan, and Linda Stanley. Tenors are Dover Johnston, Spanky Pleasants, Tyler Mull and Darryl Dunn. Basses are Dave Hale, Wayne Poates and Brian Stanley. 

The roles of Mary and Joseph will be performed by Gracie Martin and Riley Deane. Kings with wives are Lisa and Jeff Ball, Brett and Susan Holder and Charlie and Jeanette Towler Angels are Kori Bowles, Emma Bowles, Ellie Suleski, Rielle Deane, Bella Suleski, Cierra Jeffers, Jessie Rula, Bonnie Rula, Meredith Rula and Sydney Richardson. The director / pianist is Vivian Dunn. Everyone is invited to attend and refreshments will follow in the fellowship hall at Cartersville Baptist Church.
