The Heart of Virginia Classic Auto Club (HOVCAC) made donations to the Heart of Virginia Free Clinic, Meals on Wheels and Better Days Farmville. The HOVCAC is a non-profit organization that donates yearly to organizations. The club holds a Cruise- In at 5 p.m. on the third Saturday of the month from April through October at the Farmville Tractor Supply parking lot. HOVCAC gave a donation to Better Days Farmville, which provides housewares and furnishings for families starting over. A second donation was given to The Heart of Virginia Free Clinic, which voluntarily provides basic health care for the working uninsured with chronic conditions, ages 18-64. They also have a pharmacy and offer dental services. They have provided services to over 500 patients since 2012. A third donation was given to Meals on Wheels of Prince Edward County, which provides meals for those who need help preparing their meals. They serve about 60 clients.
