The bells will play again at Farmville United Methodist Church (UMC). On Sunday, Nov. 19, Rev. Susie Thomas, right, dedicated the church’s new digital carillon for service. With her were, from left, Linda and Bill Hogan, who managed the church’s previous carillon, and Mike Montgomery, who helped the church raise funds to purchase a new computerized bell carillon. The bells will play seasonal hymns at 8 a.m., noon and 5 p.m.
