James Spovie Patterson, 92 of Cumberland, passed away Oct. 27. Funeral service will be held on Friday, Nov. 3, at 1 p.m., at Zion Baptist Church, Dillwyn. Interment will be in the Ridgeway Baptist Church Cemetery, Reid’s Funeral Home of Dillwyn is serving the family.

Dr. Alberta B. Person, 76 of Amelia, passed away Oct. 24. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 4, at 2 p.m., at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Carl U. Eggleston Funeral Establishment is serving the family.
