James Earl Johnson Jr., 83 of Newport News, formerly of Prince Edward, passed away May 25. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 3, at 11 a.m., at Macedonia Baptist Church, Rice. Interment will be in the Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice. Bland-Reid Funeral Home of Farmville is serving the family.
