Students of the Month for Cumberland County included Baileigh Meinhard, Sofia Paras, and Elizabeth DeVore. All three, along with Cheyenne Crenshaw, were honored by the school board during their monthly meeting.

Each month during the regularly scheduled meeting, the Cumberland School Board recognizes the Students of the Month for each school. Four students were recognized by School Board members at the meeting held on May 4. They include Sofia Paras, a fourth grader at Cumberland Elementary School; Elizabeth Brooke DeVore, a eighth grader at Cumberland Middle School; Baileigh Meinhard, twelfth grader and Valedictorian at Cumberland High School and Cheyenne Crenshaw, twelfth grader and Salutatorian at Cumberland High School.
