Clarence Jackson Slayton Jr., 73, born and raised in Farmville, passed on July 27, from long-term illnesses. He is survived by sisters, Jackie Slayton Williams (Tom) and Annie May Herbert (Doug) and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by parents, Clarence Slayton Sr. and Caroline Scott Slayton.
