Ray J.R. Scott, 67 of Paterson, New Jersey, formerly of Prince Edward County, passed away Feb. 2. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, Feb. 12, at noon, in the Chapel of Bland-Reid Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Peaks Baptist Church Cemetery, Prospect. Bland-Reid Funeral Home of Farmville is serving the family.
