A third Starbucks and the first free-standing version with a drive thru in Farmville is on track to open this fall.

Asset and Project Manager Will Allen with Farmville 460/15 Associates, LLC confirmed the former BP gas station located at 2003 South Main Street adjacent to the Tru Hotel and Arby’s has had no delays in construction and is on schedule.

According to Allen, renovations of the location will continue through the summer months.

Allen did not give a specific opening date but noted that the new coffee shop with have a seating area and onsite parking, in addition to the drive- thru.

There are currently two other Starbucks located in Farmville, but they are not full-service coffee shops.

One is located on the campus of Longwood University, and the other is located inside the Barnes and Noble bookstore located on Main Street in the Downtown District.

Farmville 460/15 Associates, LLC is also responsible for developing the Wal- Mart shopping center, Huddle House, and is involved in the ICA facility located off of Waterworks Road in Farmville.
