Sallie Waddell Vanover, 77 of Meherrin, Virginia, passed away on June 30, 2020 in Keysville Virginia.

Sallie was born to Anne Lee & Joe Ben Waddell on March 25, 1943.

Visitation was held on July 3, 2020 from 6-8pm at Shorter Funeral Home.

The graveside service was held July 5, 2020 at 2:00pm at Douglas Presbyterian Church in Farmville, Virginia, with Pastor William Strong officiating. Arrangements were by Shorter Funeral Home.

Sallie is processed in death by her Great-Grandson Ethan Jamerson.

Sallie is survived by her husband John Harrison Vanover Jr.; her seven children Anne Caraveo, Robert Mitchell Jr., Darlene Jamerson (Henry), Barbara Riddle (Bobby), Mark Mitchell (Janet), Katherine Jamerson (Chuck), Terry Mitchell (Alice), Lillie Moore (Sister), 14 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren & 2 Great Great Grandchildren
