The Cumberland Volunteer Fire Department (CVFD) was dispatched to the 200 block of Old Buckingham Road Monday evening for a reported collision.
According to CVFD member Ben Pfeiffer, firefighters were dispatched at approximately 5:08 p.m. Monday, July 20. Units arrived to find two vehicles blocking the road with moderate damage. Both drivers were out of their vehicles.
Pfeiffer said the drivers were transported by emergency medical service personnel for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The roadway was shut down for approximately an hour until the vehicles and debris were removed.
Rescue 21, Engine 24 and Utility 25 responded to the accident.
