SERVICES at Zion Hill Baptist Church will have park and praise in the car service on Sundays from 11 a.m.-noon.

LIVE STREAMING SERVICES at First Liberty Baptist Church will be held the first and third Sunday at 10 a.m. and Bible study via teleconference on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. Dial in at 617-793-8841, no code. All other programs and services will remain suspended in compliance with the governor’s orders.

PARK AND PRAISE SERVICE, 10-11 a.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church on Sunday’s until further notice.

PARKING LOT SERVICES, Sharon Baptist in Cumberland parking lot worship services will be held at 9 a.m. on the first through fourth Sundays until further notice. Homecoming and revival services scheduled for August 2020 have been canceled.

JULY 4

BENEFIT YARD SALE – A yard sale will be held Saturday, July 4, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on 15 South just past Worsham Grocery. The sale benefits ladies missions of St. John’s Lutheran Church.

JULY 5

DRIVE-IN WORSHIP – Cedar Baptist Church, 3932 Bell Road in Dillwyn, will have a drive-in worship service Sunday, July at 10 a.m. Also, at 11:15 a.m. there will be a worship service inside the church sanctuary. Attendees will be asked to wear a mask for the inside service.

JULY 7

BEEKEEPERS – The Heart of Virginia Beekeepers meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Prince Edward County Extension Office is canceled. For more information call Mary Jane Morgan at 434-315-1433.

JULY 8

TOWN COUNCIL MEETING – The Farmville Town Council will hold its regular monthly meeting Wednesday, July 8 at 7 p.m. For information about how to access the meeting, please visit the town’s website at www.farmvilleva.com.

JULY 10

FREE MOVIE – 7 p.m. The Music Man will be shown at the Pamplin Depot Main Street in the Freight Room. Bring snacks and refreshments along with a mask and a lawn chair for this socially distanced event.

PUBLIC HEARINGS – The Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors will hold a meeting at 7:30 p.m. to hold public hearings on eight separate agenda items. CUMBERLAND COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS – The Cumberland County Board of Supervisors will hold its regular monthly meeting Tuesday, July 14 at 6 p.m. To receive instructions on how to access the meeting, call 804-492- 3800.

GOP MEETING – The regular meeting of the Buckingham County Republicans will be held at 7 p.m. at the Buckingham Agricultural Center (54 Administrative Lane, Buckingham). GOP Congressional nominee Bob Good will be speaking.

GO MEETING – The Southern Virginia GO Region 3 Council will meet Wednesday, July 15, at 1 p.m. Meeting members will have the option to join the meeting in person or via Zoom.
