The Piedmont Soil and Water Conservation District’s annual Youth Conservation Poster Contest theme for 2020 was, “Where Would We BEE Without Pollinators?” Each participant created a pollinator-related poster and learned about the importance of pollinators. More than 250 students participated this year.

All poster participants received a certificate and bookmark. All winners were awarded ribbons. Natasha Carricato, a fourth grader from Prince Edward County Public Schools, was the grand winner.

Her poster will be forwarded to the state contest occurring in October.
