Walking united
The Unity Walk in Cumberland was held Sunday, June 7. The walk began in 2016 and was dedicated this year to the memory of George Floyd, an unarmed black man who was killed during an encounter with police in Minneapolis. The goal of the Unity Walk was to connect law enforcement and the community together. The walk was organized by Terri Jackson and Jennifer Turner to promote unity and love throughout the community.
