CSCH Auxiliary presents scholarships to area students

Each year the Centra Southside Community Hospital Auxiliary raises funds through shoe/uniform sales, linen sales, and other miscellaneous fundraisers to benefit the hospital and to provide local students pursuing careers in the medical field with scholarships for college.
This year the CSCH Auxiliary presented four $1,000 scholarships to area students.
This year’s recipients included, Mary Katherine Kendall, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Michael Kendall of Farmville. Kendall graduated from Fuqua School and will attend Randolph-Macon College and major in biology. She plans to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor.
Audra Murphy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Murphy of Prospect, graduated from Fuqua School. Murphy will attend East Carolina University to pursue a Bachelors of Science in nursing.
April Sage, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Justin Sage of Gladstone, graduated from Buckingham County High School. Sage will attend the College of William and Mary where she will major in kinesiology.
Caroline Seal, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Seal of Cumberland, graduated from Cumberland County High School. Seal plans to attend James Madison University and major in nursing.
