Shooting occurs May 24 in Prince Edward

Two bullets were found in a Prince Edward County home after a shooting incident was reported to the sheriff’s office Sunday night, May 24.
Sheriff L.A. “Tony” Epps noted the incident took place shortly before midnight in the 1600 block of Tuggle Road, as highlighted in a Wednesday, May 27, press release.
“A resident called the Prince Edward County Sheriff’s Office to report a shot fired into the residence,” Epps said. “Sheriff’s office deputies responded to the call for service, and they found that two bullets had appeared to have been fired into the home.”
He stated the deputies did an investigation, and the incident is still under investigation.
