Marigold Barker Moore, 83 of Farmville, VA passed away on May 8, 2020. She was born on February 16, 1937 in Colchester Essex, UK to the late Albert and Joan Barker. She worked as a nanny for many years and was loved by many children. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Melvin G. Moore and they spent many happy times together. Her favorite time was spent with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, a son Glenn Moore (Tina) of Farmville, two daughters Lorinda Sauer (Douglas) of Victoria, VA, Michelle Moore (Brenda) of Farmville, VA, 5 grandchildren, Jonathan, Joshua, Jordan Moore, Nicholas Deskins, Jeannette Good and a brother Adrian Barker (Judi) of the UK and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson Foundation. Puckett Funeral Home is serving the family.
