Dillwyn man arrested for theft of auto parts

A Dillwyn man has been charged in connection with last month’s theft of catalytic converters from Davis GMC.
A press release from the Farmville Police Department said John M. Whorley, 42, was charged with two counts of grand larceny of motor vehicle parts. Whorley is being held at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail in Halifax on unrelated charges. He remains jailed without bond.
The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected, the release stated.
