Our precious little angel, Asher Alexander Pleasants, beloved infant son of Hugh and Cheryl Pleasants, of Buckingham went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 22, 2020.
During his brief visit here on earth, he enjoyed cuddling with his bear, finding his fingers, and being held close by his parents, siblings, grandparents, and other family members. He was loved by so many and will be greatly missed. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Mason; 2 sisters, Mary Reagan and Piper; maternal grandparents, Jimmie and Mary Phaup; paternal grandparents, Berk and Sharon Pleasants; paternal great grandparents, Russell and Harriet Johnston; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and family friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2020, in Westview Cemetery, with Pastor Mark Tapscott officiating. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Buckingham County Rescue Squad in Asher’s name, PO Box 410, Dillwyn, VA 23936. Puckett Funeral Home is serving the family. www.puckettfh.com.
