Alworth Anderson “Wirty Boy” Johnson, 85 of Jetersville, VA., made his journey home to the Lord on April, 5, 2020 in a local hospital. He was a retired auto mechanic and the son of the late Armstead and Bena Johnson of Jetersville. He is survived by his wife, Zelda Love Johnson of Crewe; sister-in-law, Daisy Johnson of Amelia; children, Lorna Johnson of New York City; Alworth Johnson, Jr of Fla; James Chalkley (Carolyn) of Chicago, IL, Shelia, Jerome and Jermaine Johnson of Jetersville, Valerie Johnson-Nash of Farmville, a friend Gwendolyn Hatcher of Jetersville; one son, Corey Johnson predeceased him. Also, many grand, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. “Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind who have no hope”. 1 Thes. 4:1
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic restrictions, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
