The Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors recognized Prince Edward County High School senior Hannah Roldan at the board’s Tuesday, March 10, meeting for qualifying for and participating in the 2019 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Roldan auditioned for and was awarded a spot in the Macy’s Great American Marching Band, which performs in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Roldan was one of only 25 alto saxophonists in the roughly 200-member ensemble which comprised students from nearly every state in the nation. (Photo by Titus Mohler)
