Appomattox Court House National Historical Park has announced modifications to operations to implement the latest guidance from the White House, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and local and state authorities to promote social distancing. As of March 17, all park buildings, including the park visitor center, are closed until further notice. The scheduled 155th Surrender Anniversary Commemoration, set for April 8-12, is canceled. Where it is possible to adhere to the latest health guidance, restroom facilities, trails and grounds will remain open.
