Doesn’t everyone love pasta? Join Pasta for a Purpose on Friday, April 3 from 6-8 p.m. This is a benefit dinner for friends of Barnabas’ 2020 Team Joy. Enjoy pasta, salad, drink and dessert all for a love donation per person or family. There will also be a silent auction. The event will be held at Concord Baptist Church, 12053 Francisco Road in Sheppards.
Maysville Baptist will be hosting a D-Egg-Cathalon Event Saturday, April 4 at 1 p.m. At this fun event, children will compete on teams in 10 different field events including the javelin throw, relay races, egg balancing, and more. Children in K – sixth grade will participate in the field events while younger children ages 2 – preK can enjoy an egg hunt and a bounce house. Each child will receive a candy bag. This event is free and open to the public.
Registering for the event is appreciated, (so teams may be evenly divided) but not mandatory. Participants may register through the church’s Facebook page, Maysville Baptist. Call the church office at (434) 969-4657 or message them with any questions.
