Students who are interested in being considered for an internship with the Prince Edward County office of the Virginia Cooperative Extension Service (VCE) may apply by submitting a letter of interest.
Applicants should describe why they are interested in the VCE internship program and why they would be a good candidate.
Applicants should also include in the cover letter that they are interested in working with the Prince Edward County Office.
In addition, please provide a resume, the names and contact information for three references and the latest official college or university transcript obtained from the school. Unofficial transcripts will not be accepted.
The intern will work 40 hours per week for a maximum of 10 weeks. Applicants must be currently accepted for, or enrolled in, a four-year accredited college or university in a course of study relevant to the mission of the Cooperative Extension with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
The application deadline is March 6.
