The Lunenburg County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a break-in at the Whistle Stop convenience store in Meherrin the morning of Friday, Feb. 7.
Major D.J. Penland of the Lunenburg Sheriff’s Office said video footage from the store at 518 Moore’s Ordinary Road shows two white males breaking into a back door of the location at 3:58 a.m.
He said the department would post the video on the Facebook page of the sheriff’s office so the public can help identify the culprits of the crime.
Penland did not reveal if anything of value was taken during the break-in.
