A house on Randolph Street in the Town of Farmville was demolished Friday, Feb. 7 by Holman Masonry. According to Town of Farmville Building Official Phillip Moore, the home purchased by the Hotel Weyanoke was taken down due to maintenance and safety concerns. They have no plans for the use or development of the parcel at this time according to Moore.
