The 2019-20 seasons have come to a close for Prince Edward County High School’s varsity girls and boys basketball teams.

The No. 7 Lady Eagles advanced past the first round of the Region 2A Tournament but then fell 41-35 to host No. 2 Poquoson High School Monday night, Feb. 24, in the quarterfinal round.

The Prince Edward girls finished the season with an overall record of 12-12.

The No. 10-seeded Prince Edward boys team lost 68-45 to host No. 7 Amelia County High School Saturday, Feb. 22, in the first round of the Region 2A tourney.

The Eagles finished the season with an overall record of 6-17.
