Fuqua School has closed Monday, Feb. 3, to limit the spread of illness among students and staff.

“On Friday we had an increasing number of students absent due to illness, so we opted to close today to stem the spread of illness, to provide an opportunity for folks to get well and for the facilities staff to complete a deep cleaning and disinfecting if all common spaces on campus,” Fuqua Head of School John Melton said.

The school plans to reopen Tuesday, Feb. 4.
