Former Longwood University students flocked back to campus with their families Saturday, Jan. 4, to take part in the activities of Alumni Family Game Day.
A variety of games, inflatables, a cheer camp, a photo opportunity, rock wall climbing, gymnastics and tumbling training, science experiments, lunch and more awaited alumni and their families at Longwood’s Health and Fitness Center for what was described as an indoor tailgate party.
A Longwood press release noted that Alumni Family Game Day is designed for alumni to bring children or grandchildren of all ages back to campus.
The party was a prelude to the Longwood men’s basketball team’s home showdown against the University of South Carolina Upstate on Saturday afternoon.
