Brenda Absher of Buckingham was lauded for providing over 40 years of service to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) — Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service, Consolidated Farm Service Agency and Farm Service Agency (FSA). Absher retired with a Certificate of Service presented by James Gantt, USDA FPAC District Director at a retirement celebration by family, farmers, former employees and friends. FSA delivers agricultural commodity, conservation, credit and disaster programs to strengthen America’s farmers.
