Members of the Kappa Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® recently adopted the butterfly garden at Ellis Acres in Dillwyn. Flowers were planted, leaves were raked and weeds were pulled up to enhance the true beauty of the beautiful garden. This project is just one of the community service projects of the sorority whose motto is “Service To All Mankind.” Pictured are, from left, sorority members Joyce Booker, Bobbie Holman and Vera Cooke-Merritt.
