Buckingham County High School (BCHS) will be holding its first Christmas basketball tournament in more than 15 years on Dec. 27-28.

The BCHS Holiday Classic will feature four teams: Appomattox County High School, Staunton River High School, William Campbell High School and Buckingham.

“We will have an all-tournament team, and we will also be giving T-shirts to each team, in their team colors, for participating in our tournament,” Buckingham Athletics Director Russ Gowin said.

On Friday, Dec. 27, Staunton River will face Appomattox at 6 p.m., and William Campbell will face Buckingham at 8 p.m.

Water and basketballs will be furnished.
