Special Touch Designs Florists and Gifts in Dillwyn recently donated enough floral arrangements to benefit all Piedmont Senior Resources clients at the four Friendship Cafes in Buckingham, Cumberland and Prince Edward counties.
“We’re so thankful to Jonathan, Tracy and J.C. Fitzgerald for their kind donation,” said PSR Director of Nutrition and Transportation Thomas Jordan Miles III, “for brightening the days and the lives of so many older adults. This donation was in celebration of Teleflora’s Make Someone Smile Week. Teleflora donated the mugs and Special Touch donated their flowers and their time. PSR is so appreciative.”
The donation prompted other florists to donate flowers to their respective PSR friendship cafes in other counties.
