Lockett District Supervisor Robert M. “Bobby” Jones was presented at the Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors’ regular November meeting with a certificate from the Virginia Association of Counties (VACo) recognizing his extended period of service to the county. Farmville 701 District Supervisor and Board Chairman Jim Wilck called him over and said, “Bobby, this is from VACo, and it is in recognition of 20 years.” The announcement of the honor prompted applause from those in attendance at the meeting.
