Hoyt recognized by school board

Andrew Hoyt, current assistant principal at Cumberland Middle School, was recognized at the Nov. 8 meeting of the
Cumberland School Board for being selected to participate in the University of Virginia/Curry School of Education SCOPE 15. With the philosophy of “Leading People, Leading Learning,” SCOPE 15 is a two-year leadership development program for high potential school administrators. SCOPE stands for Statewide Community of Practice for Excellence, and the program is designed to promote leadership through the establishment of a community of educational leaders and practitioners across the state.
