Tonya Smith Blanton and several volunteers from Sharon Baptist Church joined with the Rev. Barry Vassar and the Honorable Pat Scales to celebrate “See You at the Pole” with scripture reading, singing and prayer of Cumberland County High School students on Wednesday, Sept. 25. There were 61 high schoolers in attendance. “See You at the Pole,” offers students a non-obligatory opportunity to gather at the school flagpole and demonstrate their faith.
