The Health Center for Women and Families (HCWF) welcomes Brittney Wagner, nurse practitioner. Wagner joins the existing health care team to provide high-quality health services to new and existing patients.
Wagner received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Eastern Mennonite University and earned her Master of nursing at Maryville University in Missouri. She has experience in wound care, skin assessment, emergency care and providing high quality patient care. Wagner is happy to be working in the Farmville community.
HCWF is part of Central Virginia Health Services (CVHS), a nonprofit community health center. HCWF offers a full range of family medical and behavioral health services. Community health centers like HCWF are community-based and patient-directed organizations that serve populations who have limited access to health care; because of geography, lack of insurance, poverty or other factors. Along with other health care safety net providers, the health center plays a key role in the community’s health by keeping high quality health care affordable and providing an integrated practice that includes a variety of primary care services. HCWF takes most insurance plans and offers income-based discounts for services for low-income families.
Call the HCWF office at (434) 392-8177 to make an appointment to see Wagner. For additional information, contact Amanda Palmore, director of marketing and government affairs, at (434) 960-8315.
