Representatives of the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society (AAHGS) Greater Richmond Virginia Chapter spoke recently at Longwood University’s Greenwood Library about the challenges and opportunities in researching African-American family history.
Event participants gained valuable insights and did hands-on research, including scanning family photos and utilizing Greenwood Library resources such as FamilySearch, Ancestry and Fold3.
