Many mission trips take groups out of the state or even out of the country to serve others. The St. Olaf Youth Ministry of Williamsburg has been coming to Prince Edward County for 11 years for their “mission trip.” The youth and skilled laborers volunteer their time to help families/individuals in Prince Edward County specifically. They have helped 131 different homeowners over those years. This year Bojangles of Farmville and the Prince Edward Department of Social Services showed a token of appreciation by feeding the group dinner on their last night here. We commend these young people for their service and Bojangles of Farmville and the Prince Edward Department of Social Services for showing the group their appreciation.
