Joii West Goodman has announced he will seek reelection to the Buckingham County School Board.

Goodman states, “First I would like to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It has truly been an honor to serve the great people of District 4 as their school board member. They have allowed me the opportunity to serve the community, staff, parents and most of all the children of Buckingham County.”

According to Goodman those in Buckingham County are very fortunate to have a great board chair, vice chair and superintendent as well as dedicated school board members and school staff that make his service easier.

“I will continue to work hard and (have) respect for all those that I represent. I will continue to fight hard for children and families. I will fight hard for fairness, jobs and opportunities for all that are willing to work hard to achieve a goal.”

Goodman went on to say that ultimately our children’s future is our goal, developing the future one student at a time.

In summation Goodman said, “My core values of hard work, faith and perseverance will continue to guide me. The reality is our children are our credentials. All that simply means is that we all benefit from a society with great schools and great citizens which equals great communities.”
