Buckingham Preschool was presented a donation of $1,977 from the Scottish Rites of Free Masonry, Valley of Lynchburg. Principal Angela Patterson-Jones and staff accepted the generous donation from Senior Warden Dale Senger and Mason Jim Charleston on Aug. 5. The Scottish Rite annually supports literacy in schools through Project TALKK. Buckingham Preschool plans to utilize funds to revitalize its library and increase parental involvement.
