Hip-Hop Workout is a women’s (ages 16-plus) hip-hop dance fitness class. This class uses cardio inspired hip-hop dance moves to target the legs, glutes and abs. The moves are high intensity, but everyone goes at their own pace. The instructor, Emily Gantt, turns the lights down and has disco lights to create a fun environment. The dance fitness class works out to hip-hop, rap, R&B, and pop music. With large numbers participating in this class, the instructor has started a reservation system. Participants will need to book a spot via website at www.vagaro. com/twerkout. Classes meet every first and third Saturday of the month from 10-11 a.m. at the Buckingham County Agriculture Building at 30 Administration Lane, Buckingham —across from Maysville Baptist Church.
