The Sunrise Learning Center, an area nonprofit Pre-K, kindergarten, first/second grade school, graduated its first students in June. Graduates pictured are, from left, Juby Towler, Aliza Pope, Charlotte Frank and Campbell Frank. These students were members of the first class to matriculate through the program and have been together since the school’s conception in Rice in 2015. The school is now located at John’s Memorial Parish House at 400 High St. in Farmville. The students will be attending Prince Edward County Elementary School in the fall.
