A female considered missing and possibly armed and dangerous was found safely without incident by the Prince Edward County Sheriff’s Office, according to statements from the Farmville Communications Center and Prince Edward County officials around 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

The Farmville Communications Center alert sent out at 8:40 p.m. stated, “Female subject has been located by the Prince Edward Sheriff’s Office.”

Assistant County Administrator Sarah Elam Puckett confirmed shortly thereafter that “the subject was found safely without incident.”

In the late afternoon Wednesday, an alert from the Farmville Communications Center stated that a white female, 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes, was last seen wearing a bluish-green halter top, dark-colored shorts and was last seen at the end of Via Sacra at Hampden-Sydney College around 2 p.m.

“She is considered missing and possibly armed,” the alert stated.

Furthermore, Puckett said, “This individual should not be approached.”
