The Buckingham County Christian Fellowship Association, a nonprofit organization, is sponsoring a one day bus trip on Thursday Aug. 1 to The Wohlfahrt Haus Dinner Theatre (WHDT) in Wytheville to the show called “A Country Gospel.” WHDT is happy to present its version of “good ole” country gospel. The production will feature favorite songs that we grew up singing from spiritual, happy, hand-clapping numbers to sweet beautiful inspirational hymns played by our own talented musicians. So come and join us in this opportunity to praise the Lord. Pickup will be Food Lion in Dillwyn, Farmers Bank parking lot Appomattox and Walmart parking lot in Lynchburg. Only a few seats remaining. Buckingham Baptist Church located at 24234 N. James Madison Highway, New Canton, will be hosting its annual Vacation Bible School Sunday, July 14-19. On Sunday, July 14, there will be pre-registration and an ice cream social from 5-6:30 p.m. for children 4 to 16 years old.
