The Buckingham County Dixie Majors baseball team went 1-2 during its run over the weekend in the 2019 Dixie Majors State Tournament in South Hill. Buckingham fell 12-11 to Powhatan on Saturday evening after defeating Prince Edward-Farmville 3-2 earlier in the day. On Friday, Buckingham also faced Powhatan. After starting with a 2-0 lead, Buckingham ultimately fell 12-2. It still produced highlights on the diamond, though, led by pitcher Tristan Stinson, pictured above.
