Booth runs for BOS

Beverly M. Booth recently announced her candidacy for the Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors District One. She is the democratic party’s nominee.
Beverly is a lifelong resident of Prince Edward County and is currently the county’s Commissioner of the Revenue. She has dedicated 31 years of employment to the county – two years in the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office and 29 years in the Commissioner of the Revenue’s Office.
In her current position, Beverly has firsthand knowledge of the day to day operations and according to a release, “is certain she will be an asset to the Board of Supervisors (BOS).” She respectfully asks for your vote Nov. 5.
Beverly is currently the Secretary of the Prince Edward Democratic Committee, a member of the Voices of Unity Choir, a member of the Senior Choir and Trustee of the New Jerusalem Baptist Church. She is married to Neal Booth and has a son, Russell Lee and stepson, David. Beverly and Neal reside in Farmville.
